A couple of years ago, I wrote a fic called 5,000 Light Years From Home. It dealt with Jensen abducted by aliens on his 21st birthday and remaining in stasis for 300 years, until he was rescued by bold Captain Jared Padalecki and his band of ex SpaceFleet treasure hunters.

This story, which I've called "Anything for Love (But I Won't Do That,) is the sequel to that one, and it deals with the way Jensen is adapting both to the 23rd Century and to Jared. There may be Martians, and Jensen is going to face a challenge he really hoped would never materialize.

I have a kick-ass artist, yuan_fen, who showed me some artwork she's done that absolutely blew me away, and I can't wait to get it posted and out there with the artwork and everything. It's going to be so much fun.

Raloria posted a gorgeous profile view of Jensen, and it inspired me. Then I did a couple of others to round it out, and here they are. The third one is from Raloria's cap, but I'm not sure where the others came from:

My big bang is complete in the first draft and in to the mods, and it isn't even the last day. This is a distinct improvement on my last performance!

Now I have a charity fic to do for the lovely lil_jei and I'll be back to twiddling my thumbs. I've pretty much got the charity fic planned out in my head, and it shouldn't take long. It's going to be crack. I suspect that she'll be a little O_o at the result, but I can't see any other way of supplying her with exactly what she asked for.

insane_songbird is going to be happy that I can now beta her big bang for her, and I am on a quest to try and find a perfect way of making skin look as if it's been painted gold. It's all fun.

Adam Lambert was on Kimmel the other night, and I can't wait until that damned CD comes out. I loved the song he did.

This weekend, #2 son and I will be heading to Fan Expo Vancouver

Adam West AND Burt Ward will be there, so I am going to fangirl them mightily. Adam West is not quite at the Bruce Campbell level of godhood, but almost. I have his autobiography, which I hope he will sign.

Kevin Sorbo is going to be there, too, and a whole pile of the Next Gen cast, so it will be a weekend of geeking out for me, and mocking for #2 son.

For any of you who have nothing to do and haven't fallen asleep yet, I present this and invite you to gloat over me if you ever manage to change the damned thing's colour.

Chris and Steve are doing another StageIt show on May 26th. Get your ticket as soon as they go up, or forever wish you had.

My big bang may get done. It's moving along, and I do feel like writing it now. The problem was that my boys just wouldn't have sex, but now they are finally getting it on they are much more compliant. I guess boys are much more biddable after sex.

Vancouver is freezing cold, even now it's supposed to be spring. Someone, please take me away to somewhere warm.
